We started out at ten o'clock with the Junior Girls 50 yard dash. Coming in. 1st was Michele Hackett, 2nd Mary Mackay, and 3rd, Jennet Burnett. Next in line was the Boys 50 yard dash. First was as predicted, Jeff Andrew, 2nd John Piel and -Reid-:---Then-there-wa the .75 yard dash for Intermediate Boys,and Girls. The Girls' race was close with Laurie Coiling 1st , Connie Irwin 2nd., and Linda Van Boven 3rd. For the Boys, Danny Boyd came 1st , 2nd went to Mike ; Pollock and 3rd was Ricky Clamp- itt. Next came the Seniors 100 yard dash. First the Girls strug- gled to the,wire, 1st was Mary. Ann Duharnel, 2nd went to Lou- Ann Duhamel, while 3rd was Deb- bie Magold. The Junior Girls 220 yard race was won by Michele Hackett , 2nd Mary Mackay, and 3rd Allison Mackay. The Junior Boys 220 yard race was won by Jeff Andrew 2nd John Piel and 3rd Brian Reid. The ntermeiate Beth Ludwig. The Senior Boys Relay with Sheldon Solomon's team of Ricky Wells, Kevin Cook, and: Steve Ernrnerton came first. Taking 2nd was Johnny Elliott's. team of Clarke Aitken, Ken Stewart, and Rodger Ludwig. 3rd was Dave Smith, Ken MacKay , Jamie Forster, and Cameron • Courtney.. That concluded the morning track events. In the afternoon we started the Field Events. The• Junior Girls Running Long Jump winner was' Michele Hackett , 2nd Sherry Strauss, and 3rd Mary Mackay. -The-Juntor-Boys-Rtinning- Long Jump winner was John Pile, 2nd Jeff Andrew, and 3rd Leopard Smith. .The Intermediate Girls Running Long Jump was won by Janice Farrell, 2nd' Laurie Col- ling and 3rd Connie Irwin.
