Mr. and Mrs. Sirnon de Boer
of Lucknow leave on Thursday of
this week for a two month holi-
day to their homeland, Holland.
Approximately 130 registered
for swimming classes under the
Lucknow Recreation CISimnittee
at the registration on Tuesday
night of last week. About 115
were enrolled, last year.'
Classes will be held at the .
Wingharn Swimming Pool in July
and August , about half the group
going for each session.. The
first session runs July 3rd to July

took over the farm and' Mr. and
Mrs. de Boer Moved to Lucknow
buying the home of Mrs. Howard
'Robinson on Victoria Street.

three sisters and one brother and

Rev. Edward J. Dentinger C.R..
has been named as priest in ,
charge of the parish of Ashfield
which includes, Kingsbridge , St.
Augustine and Lucknow. He suc-
ceeds Rev. Henry Cassano who
has been in charge of this parish
since 1968'. Rev. Cassano has
received .a new posting with the
MissiOnary Fathers of St. Paul
in Brazil, Soiith America,
Rev. Dentinger', who takes
over his new duties this week,.
is a native of Formosa , received
his high school education at St.,,
Jerome‘s in Kitchener.. seminary
training arid university at London
and graduated with a degree in
Honours Philosophy. He then
studied Theology for four years.
He was ordained in 1943. He
went to Ontario, college of Educa-
tion after which there were teach-
ing assignments at North Bay Col-
lege, Hamilton Cathedral High
School and most recently at St.'
Jerome's High, School lutehener
where: he has been teaching for
ten years.
Besides being known as an out-
standing math teacher, bowler
and athlete, he enjoys fixing
cars as a hobby., He is from a

Michigan and found juste west of•
Lucknow the same day...

on Brooks, across from the Button
Highway 86 farm, about a mile
west, of Lucknow.
Steve.retrieved the balloon -
and found that it had been releas-
ed that same day, Jupe 15, from .
a Veterans Hospital in Battle
Creek, Michigan. It was picked,
up here about 6.30 p. rn. , so
