anniversary services at Bethel
and Ashfield Churches.

lyn Pace) and children of Bramp-
ton spent the week end with Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Pace and Mary.
Mr. and Mrs, Bob Courtney
attended the Webster Reunion held
in. Lucknow on Sunday where a
large crowd enjoyed a day, of re-
newing old friendships.

tage at Pont Clark. •
Mrs. Leslie Wardell was a con-
testant in the Fiddle Contest held
at Hensall on the week end.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Courtney
were in Malton last week attend-
ing the wedding•of Mr. and Mrs.
Larry Elliott. Larry is a nephew
of Mrs. Courtney.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Leonard of
Mississauga are spending a few
days at their Point Clark cottage.
Bill is recuperating following
surgery at the Mississauga hospit-
al.,
Keith Steele returned home to
Detroit on Sunday after •enjoying
a_two-week-holiday_in_this-area,
Miss Shirley Reid of Kitchener
visited on the b week end with her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Reid.

is spending a few days holidays

Mr. Howald stated that fire-
men had used water from the
Howa-Idasx-imming pool to
fight the blaze and wondered
What would be done to refill the
pool. The Reeve said that this
could be arranged and instructions
would be issued in this regard.
Council tabled the petition
until a further report, is received.
