On the rainy day of
May 30,' the sixty-fourgrade
seven students and six teachers
went to Ontario Place. The teach-
ers were Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Ander-
son ,.Mrs. Aitchison, Mr. Orr,
Mr. Finlayson and Mr. MacLen-
nan. The, teachers and studenti
left at eight in the morning and
.were 'back a little after nine in
the evening. The students toured
Ontario Place but wer e especially
interested in the movie theatre
which has' the world's largest
movie screen. They all had a
wonderfUl time and encourage •
everyone to try to get a chance
to go there.

programme got underway with a
rush on Satardaym9rning with a
great 'turn out. Over 50 boys and
irls are now registered_on four .
teams. For the remainder of the
season, one game will
be scheduled, at 9;00 a.m. Sat-.
urday and a second at 10.po. All
the players were handed out sched-
ules to inform them at what
time they would be playing for
the remainder of the season. •In
this week's play the Pirates,
coached by Pete Smith, defeat-
ed 'Donna Greer's EXpos, by:a
score of 15 to 12. In the other
contest' the .Giants., handled by
..Betty 'Colwell and David Weigh-
eed won over the Mets, coached
