held their annual Mother and
Daughter Banquet..
The' Guides, their Mother's and
the executive members of the. .1
Catholic Women's League were
present. •
Captain Tigert caged on the
Guide convener Mrs. Walter
Clare to say Grace. The banquet
consisted of 'a cold ham and salad ,
supper. •,
After the banquet Mr. Heath 'of
the Children's Aid Society was
presented qiih a quilt-by-Judy
Tigett.. She stated ,.4 on behalf
of the 1st Kingsbridge Girl Guide
Company I would proudly like to
present this.quilt to the Child-
ren's Aid Society , 'although we -
are not the perfect quilters , we
would like to he. We hope that
.our Good Turn will, provide as
much enjoyment as it did while
we were making it:' Mr. Heath •
then thanked the Guides for
the lovely quilt.
