School on. Wednesday, May 10.
Many parents and friends gathered
at 9.00 a.rn. to hear the students
sing their prepared songs. Mr. J.
MacDowell, music consultant'
from the Ministry of Education,
was the adjudicator. With his
interesting comments and sugges-
tions he made the day most inter-
esting and,profitable to both
children and adults. Mrs. Lillian
Simpson, music supervisor,
• accompanied all the musical
numbers..

Congratulations are extended to
Miss Elva Ritchie, who has grad-
uated With-her Nursing Assistant
Degree, last Friday. Graduation
exercises took place in the Train-
ing Centre of Wingham District
HoSpital, where Elva trained.
Following the exercises a reception
was held in the hospital cafeteria
for the nurses and their guests.
