At Sunday Service

Sunday was Mother's Day and
at Pine River United•Church the
Sacrament of Baptism' was cele-
brated during the Service. Three
babies were baptized namely -
Denice Clara , daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Gary Courtney; Victoria
Lynn o daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Lewis; and Tanya Marie
ael Snobelen. Each baby was
presented with a certificate and
pink carnation by the Clerk of
Session; Leonard Courtney. The
choir sang the anthem "Supper,
Time", accompanied by Mrs.
-Lynn Lowry and Mrs. Ernie Gib-
son at the organ and piano.
We-are-glad-to report-that
Wayne Ferguson Was able to re-
turn to, his home on the week end,
Wayne had back surgery done in
London hospital and will be con
fined' in a brace for some time.

May 10. At the sawmill, the
pupils saw how logs are dumped
from trucks. They also saw logs
being cut and planks being' made,
stacked and loaded on to trucks.
At the Lucknow Furniture Fac-
tory, the pupils saw fancy tables
