A DOG OWNER PROBLEM!
Word at the last council meeting in Lucknow, that consideration
will be given to hiring a dog catcher for duty in the village, is welcome
news to a high percentage of village residents.
Dogs in the village are making a general nuisance of themselves.
steps are not, taken to engage a dog catcher, then council
should instruct the local by-law officer to get tough with dog owners
who let their animals run at will over private property. •
Reports have also come to us of children being chased and
bothered by dogs.

problem, and perhaps a few nips at master's pocket book would be the
quickest way to have dog owners show some concern for others who,
believe it or not, don't appreciate the furry pets using their lawns
and gardens as a public gathering spot.
