The Editor,
Luckni9w Sentinel.
Dear Don,
On behalf of the Canadian-Can -
cer Society I wish •to thank you
publicly for the help you gave us
in our recent campaign. Through
your newspaper, I' obtained a list
Of volunteers who-spent many
hours for the cancer cause.
Nineteen people responded to
My last letter to your paper, and
others willingly said yes when .
asked to help.
When Mary.Gibsori phoned me,
we discovered she lived in an
area which was canvassed by God-
erich. So she set to work and
organized a canvass in part of
Huron Township, which had not
been reached before. $250.00
was realized from this effort.
Our thanks goes out to every-
one who helped this worthy cause.
Let's not forget, about cancer until
we're asked for a donation next
year. Become concerned and
_informed_Learn_the, "seven
safeguards'', and •if suspicions
arise, seek expert advice , rather
than holding back in fear. Be-
lieve it, •Cancer Can Be Beaten.
Thanks 'again, Don.'
Yours truly , .
