Mrs. W. T. Roulston of the
Pihecrest Nursing Home is hot as
well as her many friends would
like her to be. We wish her im-

Misfortune visited. Mr. and Mat.
Ralph Hill on Friday , afternoon.
While returning frOm Lucknow
and a weekly shopping .expedition
their car started on fire just south
of Kinlough on the county road.
Lucknow, fire' department was
called to the scene. Although:.
neither Mr. or Mrs. Hill were
injured in the incident and the
roceries were saved , the car
purchased only last year, was „
completely demolished,
The sympathy of the corhrnun-
ity is extended: to, the family of
the late Mr. Elliott Johnston.,

into' our unit we are studying on
the Newspaper. We have learned
how paper is made from the trees
to pulp and paper , the process of
developing the newspaper and are
now studying the importance 'of
the newspaperio us and the world.

services in the cohimunity - in
the Anglican Church, Lucknow
United Church and for a Carol
'Fest at South Kinloss Presbyterian
Church, Both Wiarton and Luck-
now were pleased to have• the
School Band in their Santa Claus'
Parade. The Operetta at. our
school wouldn't have been com-
plete without a few nutiihe,rs from
the band. In Goderich they took
part in a music workshop
and on May 28th 'they will play
in Kitchener for the Lion's Con-
vention.

Fun for all were the Band part-
ies held at the school, and skating
rink. One of the final perform-
ances for this busy group will be
its own Concert in our SChool
May. 6th.

Lucknow School Band has had a •
most successful year, for besides
.practising every Diesday, they've
taken part in many extra.-curricu-
lar activities. In September they
played at the Fall Fair and in
November for Remembrance Day.
They put on a concert at Wiarton
and played at Amabel-Hepworth
and Sacred Heart Schools. Band'
