A GOOD REPUTATION!
Lucknow-As--recognized4or—manyAhingsf—among-them-the-well,
kept streets during-the winter months.
Tr vel-to-a-few-neighbouring-townsand-try_to_park on their
street or risk your life by crossing some of their intersections and you
will, appreciate the Sepoy Town.
A regular program of snow removal on the main /street, and the
main street intersections, along with an efficient plowing system for
back streets, has made. Lucknow the talk of Western Ontario.
Many, many times over the course of the winter, visitors to our
community have commented on the well kept streets, the ease of
parking and the ease of shopping.

The question of a swimming pool in this community is not a
new one. Swimming pools have been talked about for many years but
the enthusiasm and general public support for a pool has never been
greater than it is today.
Wednesday night of next week, an important meeting will be
held to discuss the possibilties of proceeding with a pool. Those who
have studied the various proposals state that a pool can still be a
reality this summer, in time for a full summer's use, if the necessary
agreement is reached and a plan agreed upon.
