waste bf time for most students. There are many exceptions, of course,

Part of the problem; has always been the fact that the school.
curriculum has been geared to the ;teac1ung•of "French grammar" :and.

he or she would have difficulty in securing.. a cup of coffee on a trip to
Quebec or other French speaking parts, of Canada and; :Europe.,

school with a useable vocabulary, something: that : not too many high
school graduates of the past years have • taken with them:
