Although the • audiences may not have been as gratifying as the stridents would have wished , a large number of people were on hand ,to view the work of the stucents and films by the National Film I3oard .• 'The students presented three one -.act plays, ."Heat -Lightning" "A; Thing of Beauty" and Edward Albee's ",The Sandbox". The,. first a suspense drama , takes place in :a bus s tation. where a young, girl comes one rainy night to escape a' murderer. The roles in:this play were' taken by Joan ' Currie , Boake Ferguso"n'a.nd Ron • Sillick. Theplay was produced by ianet. Whiteheadand directed by Sandra Lee , w4th assistance from staff member S.
