HALLOWE'EN PARTIES

The grade seven Hallowe'en
party- was held Friday , October
29; Persons' in charge were,
Wayne Dewar, Linda Culbert,
Ina Farrell, Cameron Courtney
and Henry •Middlekamp. To start
off the programme, John Elliott -
and Kevin•Cook read .jokes. Fol-
lowing this Lois Farrell presented .
a quiz. on Hallowe'en. The
remainder of the party was'•all
fun and games. 'Grades one and
two paraded into the Loom. show -
ing•their Hallowe'en costumes.
.The grade eight'.B, Mr. Arm-
strong's class, hosted a,
Hallowe'en party.. The class Of
grade eight A' was invited. The
party took place on Friday, Octob
er 29 Iron' 1..15 to 2.20. A game'
of, Spin the Bottle took place in
Mrs', Martyr's room. Most of
The two classes• participated at
one time or another. Also in Mrs
Martyr's room were six gypsies to
tell fortunes. ' Most of the action.
,took place in Mr. Armstrong's
room where pools of water, on'the
floor were caused, by apple dunk--!
ers. To make it a Hallowe'en
party several persons engaged': in .
the ;creative art of designing
pumpkin faces. A party isn't a.
rarty•without•food. There was '
lots 9f it,, consisting of potato
chips , peanuts, popcorn, :candies ,
cookies and apples. Pop was ser
