7 at Westminster Hospital, LOn"
don of Ernest Chester B ackwell'in
his seventy-fifth year.
He was born in. Kincardine
Township on December 11, 1895
the son, of Benjamin Blackwell •
and Sarah.Shea•ne, He, received
his 'edu.cation`on the South 'Line
and served overseasin the First
World War.
On April 4., 1922,•he married'
Edna McConnell and they made
'their home at Kinlough for three
years and then.moved to Kincar-
dine Township. 1' 1959 they`
retired in Ripley. "
'He was a good neighbour •..;
and made many friends, wherever
he made his home. He•'is surviv-
ed by his wife and two sons; Keith
at 'Armow and Ray at °Scarborough
and __orte gr_andchild,_Barbara. He
survived by :one brother, Earl
of Teeswater and: four sisters,
Maudie, Mrs. Frank Johnston,
Lucknow;. Gladys, Mrs. Lloyd
Macklerri , , Kincardine; Nellie,
