for 45 other girls and leaders from
the.Lucknow Girl Guides and the
C.G,TI.T. groups from Pine River-
Bethel and Ripley. The Girl's'.
World Day of Prayer was•celebrat-
ed fol&owed by some'get-acquaint-
ed game's. .
A movie •called • "The
World ofbbne in Five" was shown,
the theme'of which was poverty
i'n Canada; where one: person out
of. every five. lives lives in poverty.
Following the showing of the
film, •the girlswere divided into
6 discussion groups to consider
some questions about poverty.
Lunch was enjoyed and laps
closedthe meeting; .• °
For their next meeting., the•
girls have•planned.a baby
shower and their gifts will be sent
to Indian babies at Norway, House
in. northern Manitoba... The girls'
are also collecting:good clean
used clothing 'for babies and.
