•CREDIT FOR SNOWMOBILE CLUB.
A Snowmobile Club for Lucknow and district, with suitable pro-
perty including trails and runs, was a much needed organization in -
this area and -the new Lucknow,Club is to be commended for its efforts
hi organizing.
Snowmobiles and their owners, now have a large, suitable area
on which to practice this ever growing 'winter aport.
•
With the increasing number of snow machines.in the area collies
an increasing "nuisance factor". While Inost operators handle their
• machines in a safe, considerate way, there are always those who are
' dangerous and bothersome in their habits. Tbis, is the same whether
it be ears, boats, motorcycles or what have you.

the Grade'seven pupils at'Luck•-•

His talk brought out,the true
meaning of Remembrance Day
and he suggested that the pupils.
could make remembrance a
year round activity .by adopting
a veteran in Westminster
Hospital.:
•
-* As a result,'many hospital.

the students at.C.hristmas.1968 and
1969, many replies in tUrn'were

The -noise -factor is one, which can be put up with during the
daylight- hours, providing you don't have .a child who fs having an
• afternoon 'sleep,.,but the night-time performances which stretch well
into the morning hours, are not appreciated by those who find it dif-,
ficult to' sleep, or who have, small children awakened by the racket.
e_aways.-those-whn feel that everyone!! back ',yard can be
. there s when•they are riding on.a snowmobile: This involves trespass -
• mg and no,one would do it any other vehlde. . • . •
While the people who practice these habits are few, nevertheless
, they are among up, and we are .glad that a responsible number of
snowmobile operators have formed a club which no doubt dim-
, inate much of the danger and nuisance factors Of these machines.
