saying that,85 students and
•four teachers from the Wash .
ington .school were arriving, as
.invited. All they.needed was
billets and a schedule of sight-

He arranged a program that
would exhaust an' elephant;
historical 'sites, band "concert,
dance, boat trip, canoe rides.
And billets,- There, was no
problem there. Our own kids

people. There must have been

Most. of the :guests•.in. the,Mariner. Motel were members of ,, '.
Bruce county, council' in session here. The two .council re-
preseritatives:, from• Kincardine: Township, Ernest Greer. •and
Harold •Fair, and._their wives were sleeping inthe unit when_
• the• blow 'up, : occurred
The range' was hurled away: from the wall.•,and the south.
wall •of the ;motel was blown• out three inches„by the ;blast
Mrs. Greer received bruises, to her leg but no other injuries
were reported
Investigators••'believe the -motel . was struck by lightning
triggering the gas explosion:
