President Jim Martin opened„the
? discussion for which the meeting
was called and that was to vote
again'on.the arch 6th motion •
which clearly'stated "that the
,Ashfield Local support the GFO.

March. 6: . The motion was
'discussed and lost by a 19-14 vote,.
' Eugene Rayne and John Austin
moved that all of the people
who 'were originally notified about
the Ashfield GPO support e, g.,
Agriculture 'Minister Stewart , . •
Malcolm`':D;avidson, head of GFO
Committee and others, be
notified' of the rescinding vote
Jim Martin said that since he is a
Township. Committee GFO member
and that he had not changed his ,
'mind, about continuing' his support,'
that he would step down. from the
