Friends in `this area were shocked
and saddened to.learn of the death
of Mrs. Robert Steele of Detroit
who passed away three days after
being trapped in 'ahouse fire .in
that 'city. She was -the former
Grace Campbell of the Amberley
area.
Mrs. ySteele was visiting last Fri -
day for ,the afternoons with her
sister, Miss Agnes Campbell, in ,
Detroit. Miss Cam. bell resides
••, with her niece,, M s. Fred. Tracey,
the former Edalene Rink and a
daughter of the late Mrs. Edward.
Rink (Margaret. Campbell).
' Mrs, Steele and Miss Campbell,
along with a preschool' age Tracey

the family there at that time. A'

broke out 'in one of the 'upstairs
• bedrooms. and the two ladies

Bob Steele, and the late Mrs:
Steele', were very well:known in
this community. The couple were
�'- toth.natives of the Amberley
area. Bob was a blacksmith at
Amberley,for many years prior to
going to Detroit where he was
employed in the atitomotive indus-
try' for many years. 'Through the
years, they spent much of their.
