The mayor then atated that owing

he would defer some remarks he
intended to make with reference to
harbor improvement, until next meet-

through correspondence.
On motion the mayor and Couns.
Huraber and Brown were appointed a
committee to dtaft a resolution on
behalf of the Council, for presentation
to tiae widow and family of the late
official.
Mr. Saunders, being present, asked
that the advance linked for on the
Organ Company loan be made as
speedily as possible, so as not to com-
pel any cessation of -tbo-wirrir now
progressing so satisfactorily. After
some discussion, Mr. Dickinson saying
that he had not examined as to the
title so far as the original acquisition
of the lot by the Company, it was
agreed that he ehould do so without
delay, and on his report the Special
committee would be called to deal
with the matter, and on motion of
Conn& Elliott and Murney it was
decided that the debentures be pre-
pared at once so that they might be
ready lot sale and thus avoid the
necesnity for paying bank interest on
discount. •
The Council then adjourned to meet

Is your liver doing its great work
properly? If you have vomiting,
nausea, furred tongue, constipation or
disordered vision, there is a weak spot
in the liver. This demands Instant
attention.
Is the network of muscular fibres of
the stomach in a healthy condition, or
are the nerves weak, irritated or in-
flamed? Is digestion poor ? Have
you dyspepsia., indigestion, heartburn,
waterbrash or flatulence ? Any of
these troubles are forerunners of suffer-
ing and ill health.
Does your blood as it courses to all
parts of the body carry nouriehment
and life or is it filled with impurities
and poisons ? Unless you have a full
and vigorous supply of pure blood
your life is daily in danger.
