consented to speak: to :the students

The students,•at the school will.
take a mock vote following the•
hearing of the candidates and this
result will be announced by the
Student's Council after the elect-
ion October 17th.
The idea in bringing the candid-
sates' t9 the school was that of
teacher Mrs ..Dave.MacDonald It
is hoped that the 'visit of the
•candidates will make thestudents
more aware of 'political •parties
and what they stand for.

did•not notice her. Miss Murdie
was thrown off balance and to the
pavement. The Emberlin car came •
to an immediate halt. Miss. Murdie
was shaken up by the incident and
as a precautionary rneasure was
taken to hospital for X-rays. She •-
returned home and is in satisfactory,
condition.
