Ripley, was held Thursday, August./
24th at 2 P.m: at the: McLennan.

Joe was killed on Friday, August •
18, when a bulldozer he was oper-
ating in. the Fort ;Nelson area of ‘ ;.
British Columbia overturned, pinn
ing him beneath.; He died en route
to hospital. He was,in the' employ.'

Joe was born on January 22, 1946
at Kincardine, the son of Walter
Alexander. Forster, a. native of West
Wawanosh and Isabelle. Dorinda
Colwell, a Kinloss native.:
Besides his parents, he is surviv-
ed by brothers Robert of Kitchener , :
Donald and Jamie .at home; sisters,

Burt presented the gifts. June Ackert

` the bride elect. Mrs. Allister Hugh-

a suitable reply and invited the
ladies to a Trousseau Tea at her
home in Ripley; September. 8th. A
dainty lunch was served and a

Beeler servedas director of East
Mississippi State Hospital from
October, 1957, until September

He was a life tnember of the'
American Hospital Association, a
life fellow of the American Psych
iatric Association, 'and a member
of the Southern and Mississippi,
State Medical Associations. He was
also a member of Central Presby-
terian .Church.
Survivors are his wife,. Mrs.
Sophia, Kempton Beeler; Meridian;•
and one brother, Jerry Beeler,
Clinton, Ky. .
