Christmas Party
Lucknow and Cargill branches of
Silverwood' Dairies Limited held
their annual Christmas party in the
new banquet room .at the Mayfair
Restaurant on .Saturday evening.
December the tenth.
'While everyone was enjoying a •
very delicious turkey dinner, Mrs.
-Ross Cumming -played seasonable
music' on the electric organ.
Wrn. Wiarry acted as master of
ceremonies and outlined some of
the developments. pertaining to the
creamery business; Service pins
were presented to Jack Webb, of
Cargill fifteen years, Gen Well of
Cargill ten years and Jim Wilson of
Lucknow five years. Frank Haw-
thorne presented the Silverwood
Empio}ee.Holdings Limited Divid-
end Cheques to all employees with
five years or more ,service.
Several games of bingo were play-
ed with . chickens for. prizes. Progress
sive euchre was played: to complete
the evening with Jean Thompson,
Shirley Hawthorne, Jack Fisher and
Rae Haldenby winning the choco-
I dates. •
