After exper- ience on the school fair circuit. With a bee farm, a cream -buying business; and as a cattle judge, Mr Andrew became assistant agricult- ural representative for Huron. But. he took tirne off; 'starting in 1924, to finish his degree work at Guelph Agriculture College and • work as dean of the senior students' residence. • • "Grant MacEwan and Jim Cross were students in the residence at that time." says Mr. Andrew. ' In 1929 he began week in the che- mistry department at Guelph school and in 1930.mcoved to Vermilion, Alberta, School olAgriculture farinmanager and in charge of -the animal husbandry work. Following his retirement from the Canadian.Hereford Association, Mr. Andrew became secretary of the Canadian Polled Hereford Assoc' cation while he completed his hist- ory of the breed.
