MRS. R. V. MACKENZIE
Mrs. Robert V. "Mackenzie of
Lucknow passed' away on Sunday,
November 6th in. Bt. Mary's ,Hosp
ital. Kitchener. Her death occurr-
ed' after .a lengthy illness which
followed a hip. fracture. She was
in her 90th year.
Mrs. ,Mackenzie was the former
Eliza P. Murdoch, daughter of
Steele •.C. Murdoch and Catherine.
MacDonald. She was born:in 'Kin-
loss Township on: October 10th; 1877
She married Robert V. Mackenzie
in Lucknow on December 29th 1897•.
Mrs. Mackenzie, was a member
of :the Lucknow. Presbyterian Church
and had .the: distinction of being
the'memberof longest standing. in
the present church. She wasi..•
Sunday School teacheffor over 50;
years and was a life member of the
Women's Missionary Society . '
Funeral service was held at the
MacKenzie Memorial Chapel,
Lucknow on Tuesday , .November 8th
Rev. Rod MacLeod was clergyman..
Mrs: Mackenzie is survived by
two sons. Steele C. of Kitchener
and Judge : P. Stuart of Walkerton,
five grandchlldren, eight great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her
husband three brothers, Steele C.;
John C: and William; four sisters,
