It was voted that Tweedsmuir
History" would be entered in the

gown had an empire effect, fitted

chapel train. Her full length
veil was trimmed with lace and
caught up with a matching rose

What might have been a disast-.,
rous fire was averted by neighbours
and the Lucknow fire brigade when
the residence of Mr and Mrs. Fred
'King was threatened lby fire last
Tuesday'evening. Damage was
mostly confined to' smoke and
"water. The assistance was apprec
iated by Mr. and Mrs. ;King. ' .
