'Following a horse and buggy° honeyiioon trip to Mitchell, • they took up farming on the Pardon/ homestead on Concession 12 of West W awanosh. Later they , estab4 lished'.a'hardware store and flour and/ feed business at Whitechurch . . which they operated until some 20. years ago, when they sold the business and• retired to Lucknow to make their home. Fond Of gard ening and horticulture their vac ious grounds are always neat and lovely and a credit to this esteem-: • able couple. Mrs. Pardon observed her 88th;birthd.ay.on the 25th of January, and Sandy was 87 on the' 4th of May.• • •Sandy and Tena have a family of four daughters and three sons.. Murray are both. natives of Culross, but have resided on their Kinloss Township farm, on the 10th concession,' just east: of the "Gravel Road" , since their marriage 39 years ago.
