from the Agricultural ,Societ#es
branch of the Department of .Agri-
culture in Toronto the name of
the Society was officially made
`the Ripley Agricultural Society',
after. 102 years as. the Huron. Town-
ship Agricultural Society and the
fair itself will be known as the
Ripley -Huron fall fair.
Resigning as a director on the
board was Mrs. Walter Farrell' who
has worked for the society for
many years. Replacing her will;
be 'Mrs. Elaine Pollock. :• Also
missed at the meeting was Mrs.; :•
Gordon Stanley who is confined to
her home by ill health, Mrs.' •
Stanley has served on this board.
