here, last Sabbath. Two excellent ser -
mens were delivered by Rev. J. S. Fisher,
of Blyth. OnMondayevening the usual
tea meeting was held. Revs. P. Mnsgrave
and J. S. Fisher delivered eXcelrent ad-
dresses) vvhich were listened to with inter-
est and profit. Meeees. Bright and Watson
gave readings, whichmwere well received.

The music was furnish d by the 'Methodist
choir, of Seatorth, in their usual brilliant
style. The aniount realfeed we have not
learned, but as 'there was .a large crowd
we have no doubt the amount was setts -
factory. The money obtainedeis ,to be
applied to the liquidation of the debt on
the personage at Waltere. .

The Presbyterian tea meeting here on
Wednesday was ,a grand success. • The

made in the village, in the temperance

Ramsay occupied the chair, and addressee
were delivered by Rev. Messes. McDonald,
Musgrave and McLean, and singing by an
excellent choir, also solos 'Which deserve
special mention,' by Miss ' Harrison of
Westfield, and Mist Melville, of Montreal.
The Proceeds, which amounted to alma
$50, are to be used for erecting horse sheds
at the church. On Toesdat_next there is
to be another for the benefit of the 'Sab-
bath School. .
