Below is a summary of the ,proceedings
of the County Council since our last issnes'
Meyers. Dewar, of Seaforth, Gregory, of
Exeter, and Hails, of Goderich, were: ap•
pointed 1onntthe board of County Eza 4nAl-

' It was decided to raise $3,000 to spend
on the imptevement of the boundary
roads, the amount coming to each munici.
,polity to be paid after the June, meeting.,
• '`The clerk was instructed to get the CQ -
Operation of Grey, Wellington, Perth and
Bruce counties in memoralizing the govern -
anent to hand over or distribute' the mon-.,
les accruing to the several municipalities
for the said itilpruvetnept fund, from t861
to 1867. _
The clerk was instructed to memorialize
the Ontario Legislature to grant such aid
to the Ontario Creamery: meu'e Anaoelation,;
es will enable them to hold conventions
for the discussiohf of subjects connected
with the -creamery system, and enable
them to employ an expert to visit cream,
cries and give ,instruction in the way of
advancing the creamery interest in On-
tario, thus placing then in a position simi,
lar to that held by the Ontario Dairymen's
Association: -
The Warden, Warden's cominittee, and
Dr. Holmes, the new treasurer, :waited up-
on J3on. A. M. Roes, who handed over
his books and all•paperg pertaining to his
once, and the new treasurer was installed,
in his office, the transfer being made in
the most amicable: manner.

- affecting the code of Mr. John Mason, late

for North Huron,in lieu of his expenditure
for postage and, stationery during his'terin
_ of office; was referred to the finance oodl-
mittee, who, recommended a grant.of.$400.
Mr. G. Elliott, road commissioner, was
instructed to inspect the flooring of Bay-
field' BM d
ay-liold'ard Hall's bridges, and have the same
repaired, and alsothebridgebetween Olin.
