When you're away for a week, it
takes a bit to get caught up. Niece
Nici was married on Sept. 17 to
Beau in Jubilee Park in Marwayne,
which is near Kiscoty and
Streamstown or north of Lloyd
minister on the Alberta side of life.
So lots of chatting took place as the
Edmonton boys, Phil and brother
Clif looked after our sleeping issues.
Travelling to Alberta were Bob and
Barb, Bill and Pauline, Chris and
Lara and Ralph and me, as well as
stepbrother Tim and Vicki Keil.

before the wedding to do a lot of

ceremony. So Alberta hospitality
and scenery with Native traditions in
the ceremony and party, plus family
time made for a great week.
Meanwhile in Brussels, the fair
was being prepared. A tradition for
us that just gets better each year. All
reports of the event were positive
with each person having a favourite
incident to tell. So good work and
thanks to the many volunteers who
do their bit each year — a good
example of community in action.
We had two interesting guests on
Saturday night. Two ladies in the
third act of their lives — that's
retirement — started from Guelph on
