The name was changed to Knox in 1910 and the current building constructed in 1912. With church union it became a United Church in 1925, but was closed in 1976. When this weekend is in the books, Diehl and McLellan hope that residents and former residents come away with a sense of history and pride in their community. With people passing away and moving on to different communities, McLellan said that some of the community's newer residents are slightly removed from the sense of Grey's history. He hopes this event can instill some of that in residents who haven't lived in Grey their whole lives. Congratulations Grey Township!
