of the `Almost Famous Players"! If
you are looking for a great night of
entertainment that offers something
for everyone, from the young to the
young at heart, then come and
experience the fancy footwork,
timely twirls and colourful costumes
that illuminate the joy, passion and
immense talent of the Almost
Famous Players. The group's 12th
anniversary performance of
"Uptown Funk" is guaranteed to get
your toes tapping and hands
clapping. Share the news that
everyone that this will be a night to
remember — as the players aim to put
a smile on your face and leave you
with a song in your heart.
Join the Almost Famous Players to
experience entertainment for all ages
that includes numbers from Taylor
Swift, 011y Murs, Bruno Mars and
Megan Trainor. The group will be
welcoming guest appearances from
Matt and Sierra Train as well as the
Belmore Choir and will also be

The Blyth Festival Singers invite
you to turn your musical palate
towards Rutter's "Requiem" for their
spring concert on April 10. They
will share this splendid
contemporary work that affirms life
and life after death. This will be
Artistic Director Sharon Poelstra's
fourth time conducting John Rutter's
"Requiem," a work that delights
audiences and singers alike.
The Singers are pleased to
welcome back Juno award-winning
organist Ian Sadler who will
accompany "Requiem". Ian lives in
Stratford and contributes greatly to
the music scene in southwestern
Ontario including leading the
Stratford Concert Choir and
performing with the Bach Festival of
Canada. His work is world-
renowned and he regularly plays in
cathedrals nationally and
internationally, but particularly in
the UK.
Other guest musicians include
soprano Jessica Tweedle from St.
Mary's, Stratford flutist Jan Searle,
cellist Tom Beard from Wingham
and Goderich timpanist Murray
Keith.
"Music for the Soul" is sure to be
an unforgettable event in the rich
acoustic environment that is Clinton
United Church. The concert begins
at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, April
10 with a light reception to follow.
