ter, a short illness. He was born
inAshfield township, 'a mile
west of Lucknow:: on the farm
now owned,.by Alvin 'Irwin..
Sixty ~ yew's, .ago he ,married
the former Ida M. Cook and they
lived on. their farm on the 4th
concession of Huron township, un-.
I til` they retired, moving to Ripley,
- 28 , years ago. ' '
Two years .later he .purchased
the former Alex Agar - home on
Wheeler • Street, Lucknow , and
they took . up' residence. there.
He, was .a member of the Luck'=
now United Church, a -good neigh-
bour and a kind and loving . hus-
band and father,.
He •'leaves to mourn (besides his
wife, one daughter Olive; Mrs.
George Kennedy and one : son
Cecil of Loran. Also 'three; grand-
children:: ' . 1
The funeral was held on Sa ur-.
day, ' November 29th .from ,he
