George Armstrong, who left
here sixty years ago, and 'hasn't
been back.' in half a century, has.
had old memories stirred .by
word of the Centennial. He re
ceived the initial 'announcement
"froth .his, sister in London and:

Mr.. Armstrong 'lef,t.:here....sixty-
years ago, and when he return
ed ten years later, found, even

changes. He spent some tune.
then, he recalls, reading: the
names; on the new. cemetery
(Greenhill). Since then . he : has
been out . of touch with .the. old
home town.
,He learned . the• printing trade
in ' The Sentinel: ',under James
Bryan. Upon. , reading the. Cen-
tennial announcement, he says;
"My mind went back through
the years and. my, memories. if
put in print -would fill a pews -
paper" .•
