• The regular meeting of .the
Lucknow and District . Horticul-
tural Society was held in Carne-
gie hall, Thursday evening, Aug-
ust 6th. '

the Presbyterian Church met at
Mrs. Morgan Henderson's, cottage
at Bruce Beach,•' with an 'attend-

A meditation on the '23rd Psalm

Leod. Miss N. Malcolm gave the
Bible Study on Sapphire. The

organ. •

ered in seed pearls. Her .finger-
tip veil of silk illusion washeld
in place by a crown of,. pearls.

of honour; Mrs. Neil MacKinnon
and ' Miss Phyllis Purves Kincar-
dine as bridesmaids.

rran's'Restaurant, Tiverton,where
the bride's mother; •'assisted by.

sister of ,the 'groom, received the

white accessories and wore a cor-
sage of pink and white. roses..

Clubrink skipped by Reg Gillett
won the provincial 1awn•sbowling'
