Resident Died
Mrs. Christian Rasmussen of
Sarasota,. Florida, gassed away on
May 28th in Sarasota Memorial
Hospital., •
Mrs. Rasmussen was the -for-
iner Martha Smeltzer of Luck -
now,' daughter of the late Paul
Smeltzer and Martha Earls. 'She
was born andraised near "Luck -
now and was the, last surviving
memlber of the Smeltzer family,'
Last' February, Mrs. Rasmussen
fractured her hipand shortly
after. that suffered a stroke. She
was 81 years of age last October.
. The funeralservice was con-
ducted iby •Rev. Floyd .Cooper of
;First Methodist Church, with
cremation following.
