Lifelong Holyrood

ANGUS McINTOSH
Angus McIntosh, a lifelong and
highly esteemed resident of the
Holyrood ,community, died sudden-
ly in Lucknow on Friday, June
12th ' at theoffice of Dr. • M. H.
Corrin. He ' was • in his 83rd year.
Angus. - was the son of •Hugh Mc-
Intosh and Janet Hall; natives of
Scotland, and was born. on Con.
8 Kinloss Township, east of Holy -
rood where he spent his lifetime,
engaged in farming, until retiring
'some ten years ago.•
Angus : served • on 'the Kinloss
Council for several years and al-
ways took a keen interest in mun-
icipal and political ,affairs.
• He"� was an interesting conver-
sationalist and always • enjoyed "a
chat," whether it be on current
affairs or reminiscing • •about by-
gone days.
The "funeral service was' held
at ' the Johnstone . Funeral Home'
in Lucknow • on Monday; June 15th,,.
'conducted by Rev: T. J.• McKin-
ney of Teeswater ,and pastor of
Kinlough •Presbyter. iau Church.. In-
terment was in .'Greenhill Ceme
' tery. the pallbearers being Ernie
Ackert, Richard Elliott, William
Eadie, Jack Ackert, Joseph Con-
nelly, Sam Farmer.
Mr. McIntosh • is survived by
one brother, Walter • Of Lucky
Lake, Sask., and three . sisters,
Margaret of Lucknow,. Mrs. 4, F.
Elliott (Katherine) of Huron'Town-
ship and Mrs. Ralph Love (Jean)
of Atwood. •

The death of ` Harry . Bogues oc
curred in Detroit on Friday,, in
his 94th year The funeral, was
in Detroit on Monday.. • •
Mr. Boques was in the grocery
business in Lucknow at one time,
located in what is now .Henry's
Fruit. Market.: The family moved
to Detroit many years ago, but
still have a cottage at Point Clark
where they' are summer visitors.
