day evening in, the church. base-
ment. with 23 ladies present.. The
president,: Mr s. Noble Johnston,.
welcomed the m e m'hers and
guests. . .
The meeting opened with t h e
Call to ..Worship and ,prayer by
Mrs. Johnston, 1 o1loWing the , op-
ening 'hymn, Mrs. James Little•
read the Scripture and gave ''the
Meditation entitled : Be . Teach-
able." An. interesting .letter • was
read from the Auxiliary's adopt-
ed • son. • Priston . Martin of India.

lookfor a C GLT, helper. ;
Following ,sentence prayers by
all members, Mrs: Gordon Bar-
ger gave: a very 'pleasing solo
entitled "" Somebody." Mrs. Haw-
thorne, read from the Glad Tid-
ings., two interesting articles
"The Christian's .Calling" a rid
"Report on t h e World . Day of
Prayer." •
A reading "'Let Us Smile" was
given by Mrs. Jim Aitchison, Mrs.
Howard Agnew was in charge of
the topic — "Mission • on our Door-
step",' emphasizing what Can be
done to help : students , and other
young people. away from home.
