George Gibson Died
At Huronview

George 'Wesley' Gibson, 69;. for-
merly of Ashfield Township, pas-
sed away. at fiuronview. Clinton,
on Tuesday, July .6th after. a len-,'
cthy' illness, He was •born at Chit-
liwack, British 'Columbia, on Oct-
ober' 3, 1895. son 'of George Gib-
son and : Catherine Webster.
George farmed In Ashfield un-
til 1959, In August 1955 he was in
a car accidentand suffered sev-
ere 'head injuries from ,,which. he
never enmpletely recovered.
Mr. Gibson is survived by one
sister `Miss ,Susan Gibson of Luck
now,, five brothers, John of Clin-
'ton, James ' ,of Agassiz. B.C.
Samuel and Marshall • of Ash-
field arid,. Earl of Bolton. •
He . was predeceased by his
parents, , one; sister Mrs. ' Kather-
ine Webb, of Agassiz, B,C.", irl
1956, a brother Beattie of Detroit
•in 1962 and another .brother 'Cal-
vin in •infancy. '
The funeral service was held`'• on
Friday, July 9th, at'2 p.m. frorn
MacKenzie Memorial Chapel,
Ltecknow with Rev. G. W. Kaiser
officiating. The pallbearers were
