meeting at Blyth,' May 27th. A

J. Todd,.. Mrs. EBarbour, Mrs.
Ross Gammie, Mrs. Chas. Mc-
Donald, Mrs. Andrew Gaunt and
Mrs. Harold Gaunt were • appoint-
ed to start making plans for our
sixtieth anniversary this fall. Mrs.
G. Struthers, •Mrs. Lorne Woods
'and Mrs. E. W. Rice were ap-
pointed to look after the re -dec-
orating of:'the ' hall. Mrs. A. Cran-
ston's tender for caretaking of
the . hall was accepted. A dona-
tion . of twenty -five -dollars was re-
ceived from Miss • Elizabeth ,And-
erson ' ' emory of her, mother
Mrs. . chie Anderson.
The guest "speaker, ' Mrs. M.
Rayner of Lucknow, ;` was intro-
duced by Mrs. , Ross Gammie. She.
gave a very interesting talk on
"This is my Life.tt, Mrs. Harold
Gaunt thanked her and presented
a gift. Mrs, Wm. Rutherford fav-
oured with a piano solo "Falling
Water," also a piano solo ; by Gail
Pritchard. A reading "What you
don't know about Bees" was giv-
en by Mrs. -Ernest Gaunt.
A dainty : lunch was served by
the hostesses Mrs. John :Pritch-
ard, Mrs. Lloyd Hunter and Mrs.
Ernest Gaunt;..

The bride is; the eldest daugh-
ter of John Radcliffe and Marg-
aret Ann Webb who left St. Hel
ens March 1898 'to live at Rapid
City, Manitoba.
