ALEXANDER JOHNSTON
A respected resident of Stratkerd,
Alexander johnsten .265 Cobourg
street; died' fit his home last Wed-
nesday Morning. Death was attri-
buted to heart tronble, from which
the. departed mar. had: suffered •fdr
nuinber of years. He had been
seriously ill. for month. ,Born
Lucknow bn August 22, 1865, Mr.
johnston was 76 years ef age. He
was' Married 40 years ago God -
native of Belleville, who survives.
Following their marriage, Mr. and
Mrs, Johnston. lived in. Seaforth for
14 years, then moved to Stratford.
Mr. Johnston was a resident of
Stratford for, abrAit 26 years.' Dur-
'ing the greater part of that time
he :was employed. as Wood turner.
at the Stratford Chair Company,
from which position he retired fiVe
years ago, Mr. johnston's quiet and
kindly disposition won him many

Seaforth, He was a niernber of 'St:
