MRS. ANGUS MeKENZIE
The death occurred in Wing -
ham General Hospital on Wed-
nesday, .March 1st of Florence L.
Simmons, widow of the late Ah-
gus McKenzie, in her.66th year.
Mrs. McKenzie was ill but a feW
days. Her husband was killed
about six years ago when he was
struck by a car as he worked on
the highWay' between Wiingharri
and 'leeswater,7 Mrs McKenzie
was bin in England and came
to• Canada when about six years
of age living with Mr: and Mrs.
George Weatherhead- of St. Hel-
ens. She resided in Wingham for.
some tirrie before her Marriage,'
They larmed in Kinloss but were
residing in TeeSWater when Mr.
McKenzie had the accident. She
was a member of Langside Pres-
byterian church and •w.hile
Wingham attended St. Andrew's
church. •
The funeral was held from R.
A. Currie's funeral parlors • on
Saturday afternoon, March 4th,
with Rey. Kenneth MacLean con
ducting ,the services. Burial took
• placeinTeeswater cemetery.

reading. Mrs. Prest was the guest
speaker, giving the life arid ro-
mance of Florence .Nightingale.

home of Mrs. J. W. Stewart for
their- March meeting with Mrs.
MacDiarmid presiding. The
scripture lesson was read and
ably explained by Mrs. Stewart.

Rev, Stewart. Mrs: Hall favored
with a solo. Mrs. W. P. Reid gave
a timely reading _on the Lenten

• Following an illness of two
weeks, John Silas Morgan passed
on in the Wingham General Hos-
pital, Friday, March 3rd, In, his
83rd year. He was born in Huron
township, near Ripley, and con -
tinued to reside there until he
retired from farming in 1913,
when he moved to Wingham.
