C. A. F. • ESCAPED MAURY WHEN STRUCK BY CAR R, J. Moore miraculously escaped injury. on Monday even- ing when struck by 'a car in front of his shop. Mr. Moore had start- • ed across the street when he not- iced the car bearing down on him. He jumped back but .,the Motorist swung the 'same way in trying to avoid him. The bumper struck Bob on theleg and knock- ed him to the ,pavement. The motorist, whom, Mr. • Moore didn't know, stopped and helped him up, •considerably, relieved to learn that a bruise or •twoand a few : scratches were the 'extent of the injuries. With a bit of lack, I might manage to stay on a course, with the • hope of a few days around -i home at Christmas.
