lents • from' the hospital.
- The bride was preceded up the
aisle by the ushers Mai Sutton
Capt. Morison, and Lieut. •Grif-
fiths, and the: bridesmaid, Lieut.,
Nursing Sister Mary Craig. The
bride was' 'given in marriage by
the;, Officer Commanding, Lieut.
Col. E. J Young and Capt. L.
White was the, best. man. The
bride wore service uniform', and-
-carried a New Testament decor-
ated .with a red rose. ..
The minister, Rev.. D. Anderson;
conducted the service • andorgan
music played .by Mrs. Rule added.
to the, dignity and solemnity of
the occasion: .
A guard of honor was formed
by officers and nursing' sisters
from a _Canadian, Convalescent
Hospital.•
The reception l was held at the
Shrubbery, :Froyle,' the nurse s'
residence. There were about •60
guests,.' including the matron, _.NIr.

_bride; Rev:' and.. Mrs. Anderson,
the Hon. arid Mrs: Geoffry Par-
sons.
Shortly after 'tea the bride,
'dressed in a brown and fawn en-
semble and the bridegroom left
for their 'honeymoon at Torquay.
Before leaving she threw her, bou-
duet to a crowd of waiting nur-

scramble that. followed.
This event was, of ' particular
interest, 'it being the' first Can-
adian military wedding to be held
