ian. The late Mr. Ward was born

the son of the: late George.Ward
and Elizabeth McGregor. He re-•
eeived, his his education at Uhbridge

and. Toronto, and, after spending
some time teaching, and rreach-
nag in the, Prairie Provinces, and
after 'a Lengthy illness, he engag-
ed in .'Indian mission work ,at:
