3 cups chopped celery, 2 hot red

quarts water, 1 quart mild white
vinegar,13 clops sugar, 2 tip.. mus-
tard seed, , . 2 tbsp. celery. seed.:
Combine vegetables, add salt and
water; let stand overnight, Gln
well,' Heat,tiwnegar, sugar, spices,
to .boiling. Add,; vegetable bring
to °boiling; boil,,10 'min.. lowly,:
seal in , hot sterilized .jars,'
, Relish . No. 2-2 ' cups, chop.

2' cups green tomatoes, 3 : sweet

4 tsp. tunzeric, 2 .cups vinegar,

well. Combine 'remaining ingred-
tents, add to vegetables and heat
to boiling. .. Sirmner 3 minutes.
Seal in hot, sterilized jars. _ For

Tomato Sandwich Spread — 12
large ripe ' ttaniatoes, 6 onions, 1
hot red pepper, 2 sweet ' green
peppers,: 3/4 scup, flour, 1/4 .cupof
White - sugar, 1 tsp. mustard. Grind
vegetables, coarsely. :Boil till
thickened.. Seal. •
Pimento Cheese spread— .1 cup

vinegar, 1 coup white sugar, /a lb.
grated cheese, .3 tsp. mustard, Ya'
cup _milk, j%i cup 'butter, 2 eggs,
1, tbsp. ,flour, small can of .pin
ento, or 1 small red, hot : pepper,
and 2 sweet green ones, chopped.
Cream butter,' , add sugar .and
cream well. Mix .flour and mus
tard and 'beat into first mixture.,;
Add well -beaten eggs and cheese.
Stir in vinegar and milk. cook
in double boiler until thick,: Add.

sterile jars. You may vary this
