RODERICK, •MacKENZIE
Roderick ' MacKenzie: of Black
Diamond, Alberta, passed ,away
on August 30th. He was born on
the Fourth Concession of Kin
loss 'Township on August 31, 1878
and was the youngest, son'• of the'
.late Mr. and Mrs.: Alex MaoKen-
zie;
In 1902 he went 'to • the West
and since 1929 had been employ-
ed as a steam .engineer for Im-
perial• Oil in Turner _Valley and
in the latter years- asa battery
operator. He' retired 'in 1953.
• He is' survived by h•is:wifeand
a son Hugh 'of 'Dawson Creek; a
brother 'Kenneth -Of :Calgary; two
sisters Mrs. D. N: `Lawrence of
Flint,, Mich'. and ,Mrs. Tom •Inglis
