MRS. JAMES SMITH'
Mrs. 'James Smith of .Wingham
died, in Wingham . General Hos-
pital, on Sunday, October . 30th.'
Death was dueto a severe `stroke
.although .she . had not .' enjoyed
good health for some tone. • She
was m her 59th year..

the former Etta Gibbons, daugh-
terA of the_ .late.. George _.Gibbons
and Caroline Riobbaris, ' of •that
town: She received her early ed.
• ideation in Southampton; and was
married there to James 'Smith in
1908. They lived. in . Southan+p-
ton u:iitil 1925, when they moved
to Lucknow Where, she , had .many:
,friends. Mr. and Mrs,.. Smith went
to Wingham in 1945.
